Why is natural childbirth so important?

Natural childbirth is up-and-coming at a snail’s pace as women are seemly more well-read. Labor pain was never induced in prehistoric ages, and women seemed healthier and free of various medical issues. Childbirth was so comfortable and painless with the assistance of a midwife those days. Today, this attitude of natural childbirth is reaping applauses.

As medicine began to be the ruler of mankind, for everything and anything human beings required to be medicated. Same was the case of women, foreseeing complications, they are admitted early, and before the natural labor pain arises, doctors tend to inject them medicines in order to deliver the baby. Well, this to a great extent reduces the risks of death in mothers and babies.

However, studies report too many medical problems as repercussions of medicines. If the mother is healthy with proper exercise and food, then there is nothing to get worried about. In the hospitals, the doctors replace midwives transforming childbirth into a medical course of action. The company of family and an encouraging procedure were in use and laboring women were transformed to the hospice to labor unaccompanied.
In utter loneliness, the woman gets no mental support and moreover she gets terrified with the total hospital settings. As a result, she is forced to labor and medications are given to eliminate the pain. With the induction of epidural injections for pain management, women feel numb. Experts are of the opinion that may be the mother is not going to be affected with all these medications, but the child will definitely.
Epidural injections can slow down the labor. The mother is then injected with another medication for fast labor which evidently results in side effects to the child like increased heart rate and so on. Studies prove a natural birth can happen if the mother is solely willing for it.
